As an assistant accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their financial processes and reporting. You will build your own client portfolio and act as the primary contact for your clients. Additionally, you’ll serve as the point of contact for administrative staff, guiding them in their daily tasks. As an assistant accountant, your responsibilities include:
– Preparing (consolidated) financial statements, interim reports, and financial overviews;
– Providing administrative services;
– Preparing tax returns;
– Visiting clients regularly;
– Ensuring clients receive timely answers to their questions;
– Supervising administrative staff.

Who are you:
For this role, you need a solid foundation. You should have a financial education at the MBO or HBO level in accountancy, business economics, or finance & control. We’re looking for a hands-on mentality, curiosity, and a positive attitude. As an assistant accountant, you will independently plan and execute administrative tasks while maintaining relationships with clients in your portfolio. You will be part of a close-knit team of experienced colleagues who are always there to help.
We expect you to be flexible and enjoy a varied workload, embracing the dynamic nature of different clients, answering questions, finalizing financial statements, and tackling technical issues. You should be fluent in Dutch, and proficiency in English is a plus.
